CAMP DEER TRAILS RENTAL INFORMATION

Camp Deer Trails is a rustic camp facility. Sleeping is either on mats on the floor or in bunks. All buildings are winterized and have modern bathrooms, heat and hot water. 

  • Herd's End - Sleeps 20 on mats. Fully equipped kitchen and small private room. 
  • Buck Up - Sleeps 15 on mats. Fully equipped kitchen. 
  • Ma's Place - Sleeps 3 in bunks. Small living room, private bedroom, no kitchen. 
  • Pines - Sleeps 7 in bunks. Equipped kitchen, small living area, private bedroom.
  • Director's Cabin - Sleeps 3 in bunks. Not for use without special permission.
  • Tents - Platform tents (wooden floors with canvas sides) Sleeps 2 - 4 on cots. There are 5 tent unit living areas. All have outdoor latrines andwater May - Oct.

    a)      Stag Ridge - 36 people

    b)      White Tail Knoll - 36 people

    c)      Yearling Thicket - 12 people

    d)      Fawnland - 36 people.

    e)      Doe Glen - 36 people

  • Dining Hall - Activity Area. Accommodates 150 people. Folding tables and chairs.
  • Kitchen - Full equipped industrial kitchen.
  • Swimming Area - Must have proper certifications for use. Accommodates 100 people. Enclosed floating dock system. Safety equipment.
  • Archery Area - Must have proper certifications for use. Equipment included. 
  • Boating Area - Must have proper certifications for use. 50 - 100 people. Paddle boats, row boats, canoes, funyaks and all safety equipment.
  • Entire Camp - Available with or without usage of kitchen. 

There is a 30-day cancellation notice required for people wanting to cancel a camp reservation.  Please check Camp Availability and call the Service Center (517-699-9400 or 800-958-9421) before reserving to confirm camp availability.

The Facility Reservation Form (below) provides cost and location of equipment available for rent as well.   This form is now interactive and secure for credit card payments.  Please note, we can not accept facility reservations more than five months prior to the reservation date.

There is a separate lease form for non-members or non Girl Scout use.  Please contact the Service Center (517-699-9400 or 800-968-9421) so we can send the form to you either by mail, fax, or e-mail.  A certificate of insurance will be required along with the lease in order to rent GSMCC camp facilities.
