Happy Leader Appreciation Day!
Role model. Mentor. Champion multi-tasker.
Friend. Girl Scout Leader.
Girls need adult women in their lives who believe in them. They need someone to guide them, someone who has time for them, and someone they can trust.
Today is Girl Scout Leader Appreciation Day, and we'd like to thank all of our leaders who devote their time and energy to helping girls become confident, well-adjusted young women. Being a Girl Scout leader is no small task, and we value the amount of time and effort you put into everything you do. We look forward to seeing you at the council office, hearing about your troop's upcoming plans, and watching the girls grow under your guidance. You are the heartbeat of the council, the force that keeps us going, and we are happy to do whatever we can to help you better serve your girls.

2008 Annual Meeting
Please join us for our last Annual Meeting as Girl Scouts of Michigan Capital Council on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Ingham County Fair Community Building in Mason. (Please note: Ash St. will be closed for construction, entrance to the fairgrounds is off of Kipp) We hope to have the best Basketmania ever and we will recognizing many of our wonderful volunteers. Registration for the dinner is now closed but you are welcome to join us for the meeting portion of the evening starting at 6:30 pm.
