"Do not follow where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."

PROGRAMS
GSMCC offers many fun and exciting programs for girls of all ages. Discover scuba diving, learn about car repair or chemistry, experience dance and star gazing are just a few of the fun programs available. All of the programs listed in the the Calendar (link to the left) are for registered Girl Scouts and the troops/groups in Girl Scouts of Michigan Capital Council. Leaders or other registered adults are expected to attend with their girls unless otherwise indicated. Girls who are not currently registered Girl Scouts may participate in these programs by paying the $10.00 membership fee and completing a girl registration form. A signed Parent Permission Form from each girl attending is REQUIRED for each program unless a parent accompanies the girl.
TRAININGS
The Adult Development Department is constantly striving to bring quality trainings to leaders. The trainings are designed to assist leaders in making their roles in Girl Scouting enjoyable and safe for all. All new leaders are required to attend Leader Administrative Training and appropriate level training. Also in order to take your troop camping, one adult must take the Basic and Outdoor Camping events. Most trainings are free and all are open to adult volunteers however, we are unable to allow children to attend.
Please check out the trainings available in the the Calendar .
REGISTRATION
For all programs and trainings, an Event/Training Application must be filled out. No telephone registrations will be accepted. The application form and payment must be received within the Registration and Deadline (RAD).
