Adult Volunteer Opportunities

Today's Girl Scout volunteers are lawyers, moms, dads, nurses, doctors, corporate executives, factory workers, and retired citizens. They are a diverse group with one thing in common: All are interested in helping girls develop skills, values and self-esteem. Whatever your interest, Girl Scouts of Michigan Capital Council has a place for you. A variety of positions are available to work with girls and adults. Whether you have one hour or 100 hours to give, many opportunities are open to you.

As a Girl Scout Volunteer you will have the opportunity to:

  • Grow and develop personally and professionally
  • Serve as a role model for girls
  • Share your knowledge, experience and skills
  • Help girls realize their potential
  • Translate your beliefs into action
  • Make new friends
  • Learn marketable skills to add to your resume
  • Be part of a team

For more information call Girl Scouts of Michigan Capital Council at 699-9400 or 1-800-968-9421, e-mail us or check for troops at an area school.
